Take
advice and comfort in an ever-changing world |

John Girling from Ryan Insurance, a regional broker
with 30 years’ experience, says that the insurance industry is nowadays
more complex than ever. More so than ever, says John, this is not a time
to go it alone!
An accelerating rate of change is just about the only constant in the
insurance industry. The arrival of the 21st century has seen movement
on, quite literally, an unprecedented global scale.
Many familiar names have disappeared. Some insurance companies have merged;
some have been swallowed up to become part of global entities. Others
have quietly slipped into obscurity.
There are no fewer insurance products. In fact there are probably more
than ever before. With only a cursory glance, most can be compared to
some extent. But it often takes an expert eye to uncover the underlying
differences.
Is the cheapest always better, or are there other ways to save money?
It’s possible that failing to read or understand small print could leave
you exposed. Is it best to deal with just one insurer – or could we negotiate
a better deal on your behalf? Without expert help, could you actually
spot gaps in your cover and run the risk of not being insured?
It’s a changing world in other senses too. Claims for flooding, storms
and their associated problems have soared. Terrorism is increasingly a
consideration. Whilst you have undoubtedly protected your buildings and
stock, are you prepared for knock-on effects; power failures, destruction
of computers and an inability to fulfil customer demands?
Nowadays, probably more than ever before, good insurance brokers are making
the world of difference. By visiting your premises, learning all about
your business and the risks it potentially faces, then discussing and
weighing up all the options, our expert team of insurance advisers has
given our customers across East Anglia real peace of mind.
