Team's Success

Four members of staff from Ryan Insurance Group successfully completed the
Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on 15th September 2008. They were joined
by eight other teams, all members of the Unitas Alliance, a leading Alliance
of Independent Insurance Brokers from across the country.
The Ryan’s team pictured here from left to right David Martin,
Jane Audsley, Dean Lushington and Robin Belsom completed the challenge
in 10 hours 24 minutes. The challenge required them to reach the summit
of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough mountains in Yorkshire which
covered a 23.5 mile circular walk.
Robin Belsom a keen fitness fanatic and runner decided to run the route,
finishing five and a half hours ahead of his team members.
Between them, they raised just under £1000 for East Anglia’s
Children’s Hospice (EACH). Robin Belsom, Director at Ryan’s
said “this is my second year of taking part in this event and it
certainly doesn’t get any easier. We are proud to support such a
worthwhile local charity. EACH work extremely hard offering support and
care for children from birth up to 19 years of age who are living with
life limiting and life threatening conditions”.
